EVENT DESCRIPTION

Welcome to SPEAK MPLS! During this orientation, you will tour the SPEAK MPLS Northeast studio and learn all about the benefits of membership. Participants will explore the history of public access TV, our community media opportunities, and SPEAK MPLS policies and procedures.

Participants will have the opportunity to become a member of SPEAK MPLS. Upon successful completion of membership registration, you will receive an official SPEAK MPLS membership ID number to start submitting content to air on SPEAK MPLS TV, and book resources in the member portal.

The goal is to provide all the tools to fully engage and thrive as part of the SPEAK MPLS community.

Registration closes on Thursday, June 1st at 9pm.

This event is one hour in length, free and open to the public.

This in-person event will be held at the SPEAK MPLS Northeast studio, located within the Waterbury Building at 1121 Jackson Street NE Studio #128, Minneapolis, MN 55413. The Waterbury, a large, red building, is located near the corner of Broadway St. NE and Central Ave. NE in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.
