CLASS DESCRIPTIONElevate your content creation skills! We'll share techniques and DIY tips for self-producing, walk through different ways to plan for your production, and show how it all comes together. Learn to produce captivating content that stands out online!  DETAILSRegistration closes on Wednesday, May 22nd at 9pm.$60 for non-members / $30 for SPEAK MPLS membersThis in-person class will be held at the SPEAK MPLS South studio, located at 2429 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Street parking is available along Nicollet Ave. When you arrive, please use the Ring doorbell and a staff member will come let you in. You can also call us when you arrive at 612-208-7215. INSTRUCTOR + BIODestiny, a Saint Paul native, is a seasoned cinematographer, entrepreneur, and artist with over 13 years of extensive experience in media creation. As the owner of a thriving business for the past 6 years, Destiny has demonstrated her prowess not only behind the camera but also in the world of entrepreneurship. Her passion lies in storytelling through various forms of media content creation. Beyond her work in cinematography, Destiny is a multifaceted artist, doubling as a recording musician. Additionally, she is the creative force behind her own clothing line. Destiny's commitment to artistic expression and business acumen sets her apart as a dynamic force in both the creative and entrepreneurial realms. INTRODUCTORY LEVEL CLASSThis class is perfect for beginners and open to all skill levels! SPEAK MPLS is your community media home. We offer introductory level classes for anyone that has a story to share. Dive deep into your media journey by joining one of our monthly cohorts and implementing our industry‘s best practices.  CLASS REGISTRATION, ATTENDANCE, CANCELLATION + OTHER POLICIES- Class schedules and registration information are available at www.speakmpls.com. - Once registered, participants will receive an email confirmation with directions and parking information for the SPEAK MPLS South studio.- Please join the class on time. The instructor will begin at the start of class.- In the event that a class must be canceled, SPEAK MPLS will contact registered participants with as much notification as possible, to either reschedule or refund the cost of the class.- A participant may cancel a class by providing written notice of cancellation to SPEAK MPLS’ Community Media Manager James Harris at james@speakmpls.com within 48-hours of the scheduled class. Participants may have a one-time option to reschedule the class at no additional cost.  If a participant fails to attend the rescheduled class, no refunds for class fee will be granted.  If the class was a one-on-one class, the instructor has the discretion to reschedule based on the instructor’s availability.- If participants have financial challenges to pay for membership or classes, SPEAK MPLS offers a sliding scale fee.
