This August, we witnessed the power of 22 youth producers coming together to create the change they want to see in the world. Students received media production and reporting training, taking those skills into the community to capture stories they are passionate about — covering topics ranging from climate change, dance, drug abuse, mental health, Black business spotlights, Transgender and LGBTQ+ rights, to uplifting Black women — all from a youth perspective.As they wrap production on their stories, and prepare to head back to school, we are excited to invite you to the RYSE MPLS Summer Media Camp screening!RYSE MPLS Screening on August 31st from 5-7pm | Doors Open at 4:30pmOur RYSE MPLS (Representing Youth Stories and Experiences of Minneapolis) Summer Media Camp screening will take place at the Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway in Minneapolis.
